Peter Drucker asks, "has the West lost its taste for Capitalism," [] but I think the issue is that of what capitalism means for different sorts of person at different places and times. What did capitalism mean for a poor peron trying to survive two hundred years ago? What does it mean for a third-generation white-collar worker who reads Peter F. Drucker? These are very different type persons.

Our "capitalism" is about luxury living; but that is not what capitalism was for a just-starting out office worker in 1920
